It creates the same translucence, color and brilliance of your natural healthy teeth.

CEREC restorations are made from ceramic – a substance that is particularly compatible with the body. Two other materials of choice have been silver/mercury or gold, neither of which offered an aesthetically pleasing option.

The CEREC ceramic not only looks fabulous, it has the same characteristics of normal, healthy dental enamel. It is similarly hard wearing when undergoing the daily grinding of food and the bonding actually strengthens your teeth. Another advantage is that CEREC ceramics are so smooth, bacteria does not stand a chance, which helps to maintain healthier gums.

CEREC restorations are custom crafted in one visit while you’re in the chair, with high quality dental ceramic. In some cases, inlays or onlays can take less than an hour to complete.
